HYDRO ONE: OLD ATHAPASKAN WORD MEANING 'TAKE DUMP IN OTHER GUY'S TEEPEE'

Jackie Crocker is fighting Hydro One’s plans to cut down trees and move a high voltage power line to her property from the other side of the street.
She’s angry because the existing power line is on her neighbour’s property — and he’s a Hydro One manager.

  1. I find it hard to believe that someone in a managerial position at Ont. Hydro would stoop to using position and influence to 'enhance' the value of his own personal property to the detriment of his neighbour....right?

  2. Funny eh. Give a corporation a monopoly, and it respects property rights the same way a government does.

  3. A manager making only $157000? Gee, I'm sure some of the guys in the bucket trucks make that much.

That would be enough to make any manager resort to other sorts of perks and favours!
