IF YOU LOVE THE SIGHT OF CLOSED FACTORIES, YOU MIGHT BE A LIBERAL

Ontario: old Mohawk word for "Land with no bow and arrow makers"

High hydro rates make it unlikely Brockville's former Black and Decker site will attract a new manufacturer, its owner says.  Steve Berezan, owner of Langley, British Columbia-based Stonewater Properties, said recent  troubles with the Hydro One bill of his only manufacturing tenant, Camalor, along with coming hydro rate increases have made chasing further industry a non-starter.“You're never going to get a manufacturer in Ontario with that kind of power bill,” said Berezan.

  3. I wonder how many people drive down an Ontario highway, and actually see all the closed businesses, and ask themselves 'I wonder what the cause is'? Probably not too many eh.

I am convinced that the societal degradation we are living is entirely due to comfort: soft living begets soft heads. When everything is handed to you there is no need to be curious or caring - so there is no requirement to look, see, and ponder.
