The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
I'm sure the climate-change prognosticators would have preferred to say: "as further evidence of insignificant empirical deviations from thoroughly vetted peer-reviewed climate models which predict catastrophic and unprecedented severe-weather events, we've got dibs on this one - if it turns out to be really bad."
That's what the foundation of all this climate change bullshit is all about - "potential" death and destruction.
Back in the dark ages the RC church kept everybody in line and generated tons of revenue by selling indulgences - which the poor ignorant dummies bought up to avoid going to hell.
Climate Apocalypse is the new hell, and eco-taxes are the new indulgences. And there is probably still the same percentage of dummies in the population as there was back then.
It's way past time for a few more Martin Luthers (or ten) to appear.
My old man woulda said: "Let's go out to the shop and build a bigger snow blower." Seems a lot more sensible than pissing and whining and taxing the CO2 emissions on the trucks/tractors that clear the snow, the furnaces that keep us warm and the generators that keep the lights on. Just sayin'
Beware! Don't be opening the outside door because the polar vortex will soon be returning and just like the bogey-man it will be getting us if we go outside! It's Canada. January. It's suppose to be f****ing cold.
