WE KNEW IT ALL ALONG - TURBINES CAUSE FITS

If the migration routes of the blanding's turtles won't stop ya...

Well, I'd normally have no objection to your plans to erect a windmill, but me and my dog both suffer from this peculiar ailment.

  1. "Wind turbines...and optimizing guidelines to prevent them". Ummmmm, rescind the Green Energy Act that subsidizes their construction and electrical production, while running roughshod over regional decision-making and the rights of contiguous property owners? Maybe a good start?

  2. They are absolutely right about the effects. One day I watched a rare double-breasted green hammock thrasher swoon at the sight of a windmill. And a lesser grey endipper tit went into a trance right beside her.

    1. By the Jaysus bye, yes. And didn't I just see t'other day, a curious groundhog sittin' atop the CN line, gazin' at the windmills, an' ne'er moved an inch till the train engine took his head off. Hypnotic trance and seizure no doubt. 'Twas a mile-long oil tank train headin' east besides...

  3. My brother-in-law lives down south near Pincher Creek right beside one of those windfarms. He's an old toker, and when we visited him after Christmas he was telling us how the windmills "just kind of hypnotize me man".
I would send this link to him but he would probably use it as an excuse why he hasn't been able to find work the last few years.

    1. Maybe that's what is happening to the other bird brains that are splashed on the blades. They are getting hypnotized.
