WHO SAYS THAT THE PQ LACKS SENSITIVITY?

Quebec premier livid at calls to drag husband before commission...I wonder why?
"The controversy erupted after a 2009 wiretap...suggested the then-president of the Quebec Federation of Labour (QFL)was ready to enlist the aid of the Parti Quebecois to help thwart a corruption probe. In the recording, now ex-president (QFL) Michel Arsenault is overheard saying the union has a "deal with (Marois' husband) Blanchet."

  1. Corruption and Quebec politics? I just don't see it.

  2. Heh. Sensitivity indeed. But, what follows is the real kicker. It would seem that the Liberals have a certain, ahem, "sensitivity" about this type of questioning as well.

"Liberal Leader Philippe Couillard, meanwhile, rejected the idea of having Blanchet appear before a legislature committee."While the Charbonneau Commission is sitting, it's not the role of the national assembly to transform into a parallel Charbonneau Commission," Couillard said in Montreal.
"There's one commissioner and she'll decide who she wants to hear from."

Methinks the sound of a puckering Liberal arsehole sounds exactly like a puckering PQ arsehole....should I have capitalized 'arsehole'? :)))

    1. One thing for sure. If The Commission does NOT call Blanchet to testify, then it most likely means that Charbonneau herself is somehow compromised.

There could be no other reason. The evidence that Blanchet could provide would be both material and relevant. But I am betting that Madame Commissioner will not call him.
