CONSPIRACY THEORY IS CONSPIRACY FACT

NSA is expanding its' ability to covertly hack into computers on a mass scale.

  1. "1984" should be required reading for every high school student. Snapshots with peoples' webcams? That is a shudder-inducing thought. What is the difference between that and a Peeping Tom? Just because the NSA is doing it in the name of "security" does not mean it is ok.

When it first came out last summer that the NSA was spying on private citizens, my neighbours and I got into a lively debate about it. Most of them were all for it. To them, because they had nothing to hide, it didn't matter if the NSA was listening in on their phone conversations. I'm afraid that the majority of people think like this. Otherwise, where are the enraged citizens storming the lawns of the White House in protest? Oops, maybe I shouldn't have said that....

Disclaimer: Dear NSA, I fully support and applaud your attempts to hijack freedom, decency, and privacy at every turn. Also, please do not take pictures from my webcam. I do my best nose-picking at my computer, and I would hate for this practice to be disrupted in any way.

    1. Here! Here! S.E. Well said!
I hope Edward Snowden does win the Nobel Peace Prize for blowing the whistle on the spying activities of the NSA on plain ordinary people.
Anything equiped with a camera or microphone can be used to see and hear what is going on in the privacy of your home....scary thought that Big Brother really can be watching ever move.
Which begs the question "What could THEY embed within a computer, cell phone or smart phone"...it will be at that point that the people that think all this surveillance crap is just ticketty-boo will get bitten on the arse. Hard.

  2. I read another article yesterday that pointed out that if you use sky-drive or google drive for data storage, you may as well give the bureaucrats carte blanche entry-and-search rights to your virtual filing cabinets.
