Within the last week, in this rural Ontario backwater squeezed up against the Quebec border, the Wynne Liberals have been shovelling millions upon millions upon millions of tax dollars towards businesses owned by the wealthiest families in the region.
We're betting this blatant vote-buying is going to work. And we're also betting that there will be no effort made by anyone in the media to dig around for the quid pro quos.
Any moment now Hudak is going to jump all over this and denounce it on the grounds that it is stealing from poor people to pay rich bastards.

The Ontario government is so broke it can't afford to refund the over taxation dollars that working people have taken from their pay cheques, in one lump sum cheque, until 2015. That is tax money paid in 2013....

Although not on the billion dollar economic scale of the gas power plant cancellations this latest Liberal vote buying spree is just as disgusting

Any minute now I'm sure I'll hear about 20 dollar bills being thrown out of a cadillac or corvette :)

Yes that us pretty well it. The poor dummies who are being ripped off are to dumb to realize they are being screwed. They don't know that the million dollar bills on the government money trees come from their own pockets.
DeleteIt is a pity that nobody in the media has a clue about ethics. Otherwise we would have and end to this stuff. Because it is wrong in the most fundamental sense that poor dumb people ate being robbed to support rich guys. Robin Hood was putting arrows through creeps like this.
