Okay, you've passed the "celebrate diversity test", and you've aced the "eco-sensitivity test", so why are you packing up and leaving?

Many of the mainstream protestant churches are engineering their own demise. It's bad enough that they have to deal with declining numbers because of demographics, yet here they are making the situation worse by sticking their noses in lefty politics.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right Saul. Just like politicians spout garbage about 'saving people from falling through the cracks' instead of dealing with hard problems like debt, the churches are giving their congregations a dog and pony show instead of pointing out wicked and corrupt behavior and demanding that it stop. I'm Anglican and my wife is United but we rarely go to church anymore because the only preaching we seem to get is about healing the planet and hugging immigrants.
