BYE BYE WILD ROSE (Jealousy in the Flower Bed)

Surrrrrrrrrrrrre it wasn't political!
So, they can vote on these mountains....or these mountains - but Albertans don't get to vote on whether they can retain "wild rose country" on their licence plates.

But, what else would you expect from pink pansies?

  1. I heard this this morning at the truck stop, but I thought it was just the usual horseshit. Nothing would surprise me anymore from these Alberta Conservatives. The reaction or lack of it will be a really good indication of just how conservative Albertans really are or aren't. This is really going to spoil my supper.

  2. There is no difference between these Conservative sneaks and the Liberal scum that orchestrated the flag selection for Canada back in the 60s. It was exactly the same step-by-step process, First of all, anything that would remotely suggest a British connection was ruthlessly junked. And then Pearson's fartsuckers hacked away and eliminated anything that didn't have Liberal colours and symbols. It should have been a foregone conclusion that we would end up with the sterile rag that flies on the Peace Tower.

So these turds have taken a page from Pearson's book. They have expunged any reference to their opposition, and they have presented the voters with three choices: two are drab and lifeless, and the other one positively sparkles with Conservative blue.

    1. I guess the thing that bugs me is that they pretend to want public input on "their" choices, but didn't think it was necessary on the question of whether to keep the wild rose or not.

  3. I suppose it's out of the question to add a "Live Free Or Die" plate as a fourth option.
