CUTTING THE PROPAGANDA HOURS


CBC will shorten all local supper-hour newscasts to 30 or 60 minutes.
CEO Hubert Lacroix announced in June that the broadcaster was planning to cut down local newscasts...  The broadcaster plans to cut up to 1,500 jobs over the next five years, as it struggles with federal budget cuts and advertising shortfalls.
