CTV has been featuring dickhead Bruce Phillips from Env. Canada the last few nights. He must have been taking acting lessons. He's like a Muppet with his eyes all googling and his hands waving and his voice all breathless about "extreme" weather and our "disruptive" year.
Is it just me or do the weather events of 2014 seem to lack heat? Philips always sounds breathless and on the verge of a nervous breakdown....he's gotta convince the sheep that paying a carbon tax is what is gonna save them from frying.
Everything Phillips said is bullshit. It was not the worst forest-fire season on record, it was not the year with the most prolonged heatwave, it was not the longest winter on record, etc. He is a liar and we are paying for him.
Harper has had years to change the official catastrophe-pending line at Env. Canada, but he has allowed it to perpetuate - along with the resultant damage to our economy and hardships forced on many.
