The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
Why is the government in the "loan" business? Surely any business that is as sound as Linamar is touted to be should have no trouble securing loans from banks. I mean, interest rates are low, and banks are tripping over each other to lend money to low-risk clients. ;0

"The federal government said it will provide $50.7 million in a repayable loan to Linamar through its Automotive Innovation Fund, while the province has pledged up to $50.25 million to the company in a one-time grant." My wife and I want to develop these new varieties of grapes and fruit trees that will suck twice the amount of CO2 out of the air and we figure we would gladly donate 1 million to wynn and her crooks if they would just give us a 10 million grant.
