THE WEST AND ISLAMIST TERRORISTS

When Prime Minister Stephen Harper speaks of the threat of jihadis or radicals in mosques, he is acknowledging that the West, Canada included, faces a real and specific problem

To some extent, true. But money by itself is useless if our security services, because of cowardice/political correctness, won't get into the rat-holes and sniff the vermin out.

Years ago a Canadian court ruled in the Jane Doe case that Toronto police were negligent by withholding information that Toronto's "Balcony Rapist" was active in a certain area. Police claimed that they did it "to avoid causing panic among women in the neighbourhood". The court, rightly, dismissed that argument as silly.

In a similar vein, it's just as negligent to be still trundling out the "broad strata" lines on any grounds - let alone the condescending nonsense that to do otherwise would unfairly tarnish the entire Muslim community and "invite a backlash" by angry, white, Judeo-Christians.

    1. I agree. Political correctness is just like a gun that we've handed to the bastards so they can use it against us.

As an example of this mealy-mouthery Edmonton Police Inspector Dan Jones commented in yesterday's EdSun that he didn't believe the amount of radicalization has changed over the years and, that it wasn't a race or religion issue. http://www.edmontonsun.com/2015/02/25/reports-of-edmonton-woman-recruiting-for-isis-prompts-police-reaction

  2. Yup. At least Harper's not bathing in the politically correct coolaid. Imagine young Trudeau's approach by comparison? He'd probably initiate an imam exchange program with Saudi Arabia and ISIS using Canadian taxpayers' money.
