The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
The RCMP have been charging drivers who text and drive with driving without due care and attention which has much tougher penalties than the driving while distracted law. Most of the charges so far have been against young women who just can't seem to put the cellphone down.
And what about the numbnuts that walk while checking their phone screens? Quite entertaining to watch the silly tools walking into posts and other obstacles.
