Meet the "new" Minister of International Trade: Chrystia Freeland
She was first elected in 2013, in a by-election, to replace retiring MP Bob Rae. Freeland is one of 13 Canadians banned from travelling to Russia, under retaliatory sanctions, imposed by Russian President Putin in 2014.
Freeland wrote a book "Plutocrats: The Rise of the New Global Super-Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else" that PM Trudeau often quotes from. She must be enthralled by every word he speaks.
In November 2015 she had an interesting panelist interview with HBO's Bill Mather with that interview disappearing down a rabbit hole.
