The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
It’s a pretty steep hydro bill, no matter which way you look at it. In October it cost Cavan Monaghan Township almost 11 thousand dollars to keep the lights on at the Millbrook Arena. The next month, just over 11 grand.
How long before arenas across the province have to close because the local tax base can no longer afford the power bill?
