Calgarians have a right to be steamed.
Taxes on homeowners did increase 51% over the seven years of Nenshi, including when the city council took a $52 million tax break from the province instead of giving it back to you.
And the cash the city gets from taxes has gone up more than 64% over the seven years of Nenshi.
At one point, Nenshi sounds a little like Premier Notley.
When faced with a question about city hall not using enough of the scissors on the budget, Nenshi fires back: "Slashing for the sake of slashing is the dumbest thing you can do."
